-Edward Diener, University of Utah psychology professor and author of meta-analysis that connects happiness to good health. Diener’s team found that people aren’t happy just because they’re healthy – it works the other way, too. Happy people are more likely to exercise, eat and sleep better, and make smarter choices, like wearing a seat belt.
