End time varies but is generally before Noon.  Contact our office at (701) 746-5431 for more information.

Food Pantry:  Volunteers are needed to assist clients on food pantry days.  Tuesdays from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM and Wednesdays from 8:30 AM – 12: NOON.  These duties involve lifting and engaging with clients.  Contact our office at (701) 746-5431.

Commodity Supplemental Food Program: (Park River, Walhalla and Grand Forks) This program serves low-income seniors 60 years of age and over every 6-8 weeks, dates and times to be determined. This does require lifting and each box weighs between 35-50 pounds. Program serves roughly 410 seniors between the three locations. Volunteers would meet on the previous 2 days to break down parcels and put together commodity boxes/bags; the following 2 days would be distribution. Seniors require assistance loading Commodities into their vehicles at all 3 locations. A vehicle and fuel would be provided for our volunteers to transport to Park River and Walhalla. Volunteers would be required to provide a copy of their driver’s license and a copy of their car insurance. Four volunteers would be ideal for this project. Volunteers would be required to sign an Oath of Confidentiality form and agree to a criminal background check.  Contact our office at (701) 746-5431.

Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF):  This program can use volunteers any time! Especially for organizing, sending out letters to donors for homeless veteran’s needs, assisting in donation delivery and other areas. At times you could be helping a veteran move from homelessness into their new home. This is a bigger project, but so vital. This may involve some lifting. For more information contact Darla at (701) 746-5431.
