Red River Valley Community Action's Santa Day Program serves low-income families in Grand Forks, Walsh, Nelson and Pembina counties, ensuring children have a gift to open on Christmas morning.
Santa Day is set up like a retail store so that parents can choose the gift that is most appropriate for their child. Each child receives a stocking filled with goodies, a stuffed animal, blanket and a gift. We also supply wrapping paper, gift tags and tape.
Santa Day applications are now available online or can be picked up at our office. If your application is approved, you will receive a postcard in the mail with the date and time of the event.
How You Can Help
You have the power to help make Santa Day a success by graciously donating new unwrapped toys, gift cards, new unwrapped toys, stockings, wrapping paper, or by giving a monetary donation. You can also purchase toys from our Amazon wish list and have them shipped directly to our office.
